Million fruit tree project for every country

Money does grow on trees!
Million fruit tree project for every country
Just imagine 50000 tons (or more) of free fruit for the poor or for the government to export. How I have worked it out this figure? If one tree gives 50 kg of fruit and could you imagine million trees will produce 50000 tons of free fruit for the poor people. By this way we could eliminate the shortage of fruit and food  from the world. The poor people will have access to the fruit for free.
Since my childhood I have always dreamt to run a campaign to grow million fruit trees where everyone has access for free fruit. In Pakistan parks used to be called  “baag” i.e committee Baag where used to have fruit trees. The gardener used to look after the park was “Mali”. It was responsibility of the mali to look after the fruit of the tree. Who was the consumer or end user of the fruit from these government parks? Might be council officials ? But sure not malis. Although my ancestors have left farming and agriculture generations ago but I couldn’t forget my roots and always try to do something to promote it. I couldn’t grow huge amount of trees my own and could not afford myself. If we all join in this project by personal effort, work and by financially then I think it is not difficult to fulfil this dream. It is not only fruit we are talking about but also we could make our planet more greener and improved environment for our eco system.

Why Fruit Trees?

Trees give us much-needed oxygen and sequester carbon dioxide

Trees increase biodiversity

Trees fix nitrates into soil making it more fertile to grow other plants, like vegetables.
You can grow trees on the edges of the land if you have farm without loosing from crops. It is usual impression that trees causes loss of crops due to its shade but if you have tree in the middle of the field try to grow tree friendly crops under it. Tree friendly crops are pineapple, onions, garlic, ginger, parsley, cumin, coriander and many more. The  Pineapple grows everywhere in or out shade and light. They call it a rabbit of plants or fruits because it multiplies quickly.

Urban tree planting improves pride of place. It makes places looks green and looks beautiful when places are greener.

Trees provide healthy and beautiful places for children to play and learn. The children like to climb on the trees. You can put swings on trees without any investment. It is good for poor countries of Asia and Africa.

Fruit trees provide nutritious fruit to eat

Trees improve an area's water quality

Very low transportation cost due to locally produced

New employment opportunities for the local. Money does grow on trees! Fruit and olive trees can provide produce that can be used in feeding schemes or sold by schools and communities. Indigenous trees increase property values and can provide natural air conditioning for homes and classrooms.

Come on join in the campaign hand in hand start planting fruit trees from today
